A clogged drain is a nuisance! if you are looking for preventative drain cleaning tips or confused as what chemical solutions to use to clear up your drain give us  a call. 24ActionPlumber is here to answer all your questions.

When left undisturbed, roots from shrubs and trees will completely fill a pipe, which can lead to reduced flow, slow running drains and in most cases a complete blockage. Once roots have entered the pipe, they continue to grow and expand, exerting considerable pressure at the crack or joint.

We at 24 ActionPlumbing uses the state-of-the-art inline drain cameras to view and record your drain problems with roots.

Check to see if there is a leaking toilet. Most sudden water meter increase is due to a leaking toilet or faucet.  Check the water level of the toilet tank to see if water is overflowing into the overflow pipe. Adjust the fill valve to stop the flow approximately one inch below the top of the overflow tube or to the water level mark stamped on the side of the tank.

Drain cleaners are very toxic.  These toxic chemicals are also very bad for your pipes, causing them to deteriorate from the inside out. If this happens your drain lines will need to be replaced. There are enzymes and friendly bacteria products that will keep grease and sludge from building up inside of your pipes.

Always remember to keep all drain cleaners out of the reach of kids and pets. If you have a clog please call the professionals at 24ActionPlumbing.

Some of our plumbers specialize in plumbing associated with home remodeling and new construction. They ensure that in any new home being built, water pipes, toilets, sinks, and faucets are installed correctly and to local, state, and federal code.

While your everyday plumber is a good choice for unclogging your toilet, a  more specialized plumber should be utilized for all home remodeling work.

Yes!! There is a difference being hiring a plumber and a plumbing contractor. Plumbers tend to fix common problems such as clogged toilet, sink, or a leaky faucet. A plumbing contractor is an individual deal almost exclusively with new construction, remodels and renovation. They handle plumbing tasks that involve water supply, septic systems, and so on.

24 ActionPlumbing have a team of plumbers who have in-depth knowledge, and training to take on any project. We can handle advanced plumbing projects such as remodeling your kitchen or new construction!!

Our Plumbing contractors are instrumental in making sure new construction or renovation projects are in compliance with local, and federal building codes (and that commercial plumbing complies with all requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

There are several different levels of licensing a plumber can have. Typically plumbers start out as apprentices. From there, they test and earn a journey plumbing license, and ultimately be awarded a master plumbing license. At 24ActionPlumbing all of our plumbers are licensed by the state of Illinois.
